Friends of San Diego Architecture continues its lecture series on the birth of the Panama-California Exposition with Milford Wayne Donaldson, FAIA
Donaldson will speak on "The Architecture of the Exposition Buildings 1914." Specializing in historic renovation and adaptive reuse of existing structures, Wayne is well-known for his restoration of Balboa Park buildings and his award for the reconstruction of the House of Hospitality in 1997. Retiring as California State Historic Preservation Officer in 2012, he continues to serve as chair of the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and is involved in preservation activities throughout California.
