1 pm: “Climate Change, Hot or Not?” with William Leslie, Palomar College Faculty. The vast majority of climate scientists and scientific institutions agree the earth’s temperature is rising, the rise is mostly human-caused, and the consequences are dire. We will discuss the evidence and its denial by some groups.
2:30 pm: “Don’t Be a Target of Healthcare Fraud” with Sandy Diaz, outreach specialist. Highlights: latest scams affecting our seniors, importance of checking your Medicare Summary Notice, and how to protect, detect, and report potential fraud, waste, and abuse.
