Local lounge/jazz singer and pianist Normandie Wilson will perform every Wednesday and Thursday in the hotel lobby.
"The very first time I came to San Diego was in 2005, and I stayed at the Lafayette, yhat was literally my introduction to San Diego," says Wilson. "I'm thrilled to enter into a working relationship with the hotel. I think it's a perfect fit," she adds. Wilson will be playing everything from her original music to jazz standards.
Locals and tourists alike can lounge in the lobby to smooth piano sounds while enjoying drink and food specials, or participating in the Lafayette's Swim Club.
