Steven Schick will conduct orchestra and pianist Sarah Cahill in a performance of the Piano Concerto of Lou Harrison, a California composer much too little-known by California audiences. That music will be framed with pieces by two classical masters: Hector Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, which concludes in an explosion of fireworks, and Brahms’ autumnal Symphony No. 4.
