The event will feature Jahja Ling (conductor), Wu Man (pipa), Janice Chandler-Eteme (soprano), Heidi Grant Murphy (soprano), Colin Balzer (tenor), and the San Diego Master Chorale.
The program will include a new commission from Zhao Jiping, Concerto for Pipa and Orchestra, and Mendelssohn, Symphony No. 2 in B-flat Major, Op. 52: Lobgesang.
