Exclusion, Past and Present: Can human rights really protect migrants and refugees? What would Hannah Arendt Say?
In honor of Human Rights Day and as part of our conference “Recognizing Refugees from Mexico and Central America,” the Trans-Border Institute and the Kroc School of Peace Studies are pleased to invite prominent human rights lawyer Susan Gzesh to explore whether human rights can provide meaningful protection to migrants and refugees. Ms. Gzesh is the Executive Director of the Pozen Family Center for Human Rights, one of the largest and most prominent university-based human rights programs in the world.
