Presented by the San Diego Community College District, this course is designed to provide the 55+ adult student with knowledge of the relationship of physical fitness, stress management, and nutrition to personal health and well-being.
The student will learn strategies for implementing a physical exercise program for maintaining physical abilities and relaxation techniques for stress management. Current information on nutrition, sleep disorders, depression, leisure/social activity and chronic conditions such as heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, and osteoporosis will be presented.
