Celebrate Oz
Oz comes home to Coronado through a full-day festival of activities at a family-oriented celebration of art, music, and dance in Spreckels Park, featuring Coronado’s local arts community.
10 am – 11 am: Coronado Public Library craft table for children to make masks, hats, and other costume bits to wear in the parade.
11 am: A children’s parade around the bandstand led by a costumed dance troupe, Glinda the Good Witch, and Emerald City Mayor Casey Tanaka.
Community Organizations previewing upcoming Oz-related events throughout the day.
Coronado Community Band and Coronado Big Band concerts featuring the music of Oz.
Dance performances by various local dance groups, adult and children.
CCAC’s Art Under the Umbrella Coronado’s local artists feature original work.
