We Built This City is an interactive play space for families which celebrates absolute simplicity and the power of children’s imaginations. A giant public construction site, We Built This City uses thousands and thousands of cardboard boxes and the energy of kids and families to build a magnificent imagined city. In this hands-on, highly interactive experience, patrons will be asked to play and create with cardboard boxes. Comfortable clothes recommended, all ages welcome. Held in Revelle Plaza. Part of the Without Walls (WoW) Festival, featuring 20 site-specific theatre and art performances, artist chats, live music, beer garden and foodtrucks, taking place in and around La Jolla Playhouse.
