Lee Ving and his L.A. hardcore quartet broke with the classic punk film Decline of the Western Civilization and a notorious early episode of SNL, on which the band (and a floor full of moshers that included John Belushi and Ian MacKaye) destroyed the set during Fear classic “New York’s Alright If You Like Saxophones.” Fear takes the stage at Casbah after our own punk-rawk throwbacks Sculpins and Stalins of Sound, with Records by Roger spinning ’round sets.
