Mayor Bob Filner will open the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus Summer of Love Encore Gala. The band Rockola will perform, and the event also includes themed food from John Little Catering and live and silent auctions for prizes such as an African photo safari and a San Francisco Pride Weekend Package with tickets to the new “I Am Harvey Milk” world premiere.
All proceeds from the Sixties-themed event will benefit the 150-member chorus’s mission of making social change through musical outreach.
