This Spring Showcase Concert will feature talented young musicians in SDYS’ orchestras and wind ensembles. These concerts shine a light on the Concerto Competition winners Sara Kornfeld Simpson, performing Cécil Chaminade’s Concertino, and Ryan Park, performing Mozart’s Concerto No. 3 in G Major.
The repertoire celebrates the end of the season and displays the skill SDYS’ students have achieved after a year of training and rehearsals. The 1pm Showcase Concert will feature SDYS Debut Winds, Concert Winds, Wind Symphony and Concert Orchestra. The 7pm Showcase Concert will feature SDYS Debut Strings, Concert Strings, Sinfonia, Wind Ensemble and Chamber Orchestra.
