Event features a 5K (8 a.m.) and 1-mile (9 a.m.) walk run and a free healthy living expo for humans and pets. Confirmed participants include military families, pet owners and dogs who have overcome obesity, shelter adopted-dogs who found their forever home, and more. The Expo will feature San Diego-area pet adoption groups and wellness companies, plus demonstrations from Camp Pendleton and Carlsbad Police K9 units and local pet agility teams.
