Fall meeting of the First California Company of the Jamestowne Society focuses on Stephen Hopkins, who first arrived in Jamestown in 1610 among the Sea Venture castaways that had been shipwrecked on Bermuda in 1609-10. He then returned to England before 1617 and came back to America on the Mayflower with his family in 1620.
