Forty years ago a group of San Diego youth, under the direction of Mary Hornberger, sang at the Southern California United Church of Christ Annual Conference in Pomona. The group, which became known as The Great Day, went on to perform nationally and internationally. Join Great Day alumni reunion Saturday, July 21st at 7:00 pm. Great Day alumni will be providing the music for the Sunday, July 22nd 10:00 am worship service at University City United Church, 2877 Governor Drive.
