Penrose Albright, Ph.D., will be speaking about the role of national laboratories in U.S. national security and technological innovation at the Second Annual Herb York Memorial Lecture. Albright is the director of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the president of Lawrence and Livermore National Security. He understands the intricacies of the roles of U.S. and international citizens and military in national security. This event is organized by the University of California Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC). Doors open at 3:00 pm.
