Monthly film series sponsored by Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library continues with screening of another classic film in the new miniseries, Where Danger Lives: Shades of Noir, Although not permitted to name the film, modern critics have called it a “masterpiece” and “the weirdest great movie ever made.” Ralph DeLauro, cofounder of Cinema under the Stars and founder of the Central Library’s film series, introduces each film with interesting facts and “juicy gossip.” Following the screening, he moderates a discussion with the audience focusing on the techniques used by the filmmaker to tell his story. 858-538-8158.
