In early 1912, SD passed an ordinance forbidding public speaking on 50 blocks in city center which lasted until 1915, "when the ban was overturned and legal picketing was restored as a basic right." Exhibition opens with activities including photographs of "San Diego Free Speech Fight," a reading from Flash by author Jim Miller, live music, refreshments, more.
