Festivities open on Friday with “Beer Garden Band Slam finals,” a competition to crown “best cover or tribute band at the beach.” Saturday promises Brew Cup microbrew festival (11am-2pm), along with sausage toss, bratwurst-eating, stein-holding, “other traditional Oktoberfest contests.” Food, crafts, live music by Electric Waste Band, Tommy Cubs, the Heavy Guilt, the Naked Funk, Bateke Beat, Tribal Theory, the Bavarian Beer Garden Band. 619-224-4906.
