Friends Center Opening
3850 Westgate Place, San Diego, 92105
The San Diego Friends Center, a "green" building, will celebrate with a grand opening weekend. The center is a collaboration between the American Friends Service Committee, the Peace Resource Center of San Diego, the Church of the Brethren, and the San Diego Friends (Quakers). Friday, Mar. 11 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm: benefit concert with John Neptune and East West. Saturday, Mar. 12, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm: opening ceremony and festival with tours, entertainment, activities. Sunday, Mar. 13, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon: interfaith blessing.
