BeerNerdz blind tasting series focuses on SD breweries; points awarded "to determine an invite-only season finale tasting" to select BeerNerdz Champion. Guests receive scorecard with tasting notes, brewery and beer names, alcohol content, and IBUs (bitterness scale). Fee includes scorecard, souvenir tasting glass, appetizers, bottled water, crackers for palate cleansing, summer beer sampling.
