Cost: Free

Naturalist Jack Pomeroy leads approximately four-mile hike around Burnt Mountain area. Expect review of rainfall in recent years, forecast for winter and spring from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association. Hike will be moderately strenuous, last about three hours. 760-839-4680.
