Lisa Koide Halverson leads class in kirie, the Japanese art of paper cutting. This project uses flat technique, with no folding. Participants will make a cat character named Dayan, created by Japanese graphic novel artist Akiko Ikeda. Piece will be framed during class. Fee includes "self-healing" cutting mat, X-acto blade, frame. Recommended for those who "have manual dexterity and enjoy fine detailed work." Registration: 619-232-2721.
