Since 1994, UC Irvine professor Eve Zucker has lived and worked in Cambodia on three occasions for a total of 39 months, 13 of which were spent living in an upland Khmer village in southwestern Cambodia, where she conducted doctoral research concerning memory and remaking of moral order in the aftermath of violence.
