2728 Sixth Avenue, San Diego, 92101
San Diego Black Ensemble presents its second annual tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., including T.J. Johnson performing the "I have a dream" speech, accompanied by an ensemble company of actors; ensemble dancers, directed by Monique Gaffney, interpreting the song "Abraham, Martin, and John," sung by George Walker; and Common Ground Theatre Academy students performing Langston Hughes's "Dream Deferred/A Dream Rising." Music is provided by Brutha Earl's West Coast Soul Band.
Worth a try.
