Velvet Café is a five-piece working ensemble on the corporate event and club circuit in San Diego, featuring a vocalist, a guitarist/vocalist, harmonica/percussion player, bassist, and drummer, augmented by a keyboardist for some venues.
The band is co-fronted by guitarist/vocalist Robb Huff, and vocal stylist Stacy Antonel, whose three-octave range and versatility helped her win Fox Television’s 3 Minutes to Stardom for vocalists, where she outshined over 135 contestants to win $10,000 in prize money and an audition for recording executives in Los Angeles.
The band mixes country standards, jazz ballads, and rock favorites.
