Violinist Tiffany Modell grew up in San Diego and began studying violin at the age of six. In pursuit of a professional music career after high school, she studied at the Juilliard School in New York, the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in Houston.
Ms. Modell holds a bachelor’s degree in music summa cum laude and a master of music in violin performance. Her career has included assistant concertmaster of the Virginia Symphony, concertmaster of the Overland Park Orchestra, concertmaster of the Virginia Opera Orchestra, first violin of the Kansas City Symphony, and concertmaster of the Classics Philharmonic with Classics 4 Kids.
While she has lived all over the country, she chose to come back home to San Diego to raise her family where her parents still reside. Ms. Modell performs regularly around San Diego and teaches at the California Institute of Music, as well as performing with the Angelica String Trio.
