Reggae-rock-soul duo the Goodies were founded by Justin Goodman (originally from Detroit) and San Diegan Zan. They released a single in Autumn 2023, "Around The World" (Ft. Lukup). "'Around The World' is what we call a fasterpiece masterpiece," says the band. "We wrote and recorded the entire song in the studio in one day, including the featured artist Lukup, who also wrote their lyrics on the fly the same day. It was one of those magical moments as a musician when everything just flowed. The song is essentially a love story about how we are all looking for love to save us."
The band also released singles for "The Maze," "Around The World," and "Runnin," along with a music video for "All The Love We Bring." A six-song debut EP dropped in early 2024, recorded at Orange County's 17th Street Recording Studio (Sublime, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Slightly Stoopid).
