Based in Ocean Beach, Stephen and Zooey raised money via a Kickstarter campaign to fund the recording, producing, mixing, and mastering of the full-length California.
“The album was recorded and produced in Santa Monica with former Sony recording artist and MTV sensation Ronnie Day, who responded positively to a fan email I sent him including one of my tracks that I was working on,” says Stephen Finn. “The entirety of the album has a very roomy feel that gives listeners the fantasy of being in the room with myself during the whole process of recording and writing.”
In Autumn 2014, Stephen and Zooey embarked on a concert tour through the northeast, including shows in Philadelphia, Wilmington, and other parts of Delaware and Pennsylvania.
