Playing DIY surf punk garage rock, Slay Dean, aka Big Bloom drummer Sean Daly, released his debut full-length Red Tape in 2014.
A comedic Christmas EP was released in December 2016 under the name Sleigh Dean, XMas, with seven songs clocking in at around two minutes each.
Slay Dean bassist Grant Glibert (also from Big Bloom) later joined the Shindigs.
