Members of Select Brass also perform with local ensembles, including the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Comic Opera, Starlight Theatre, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, and the San Diego Opera. They perform in various configurations, most frequently as a quintet. They regularly play local venues like the First United Methodist Church of San Diego.
