Singer Sandi King (King Taylor Project) released her debut solo single in 2023. “Frozen Heart,” a collaboration with two-time San Diego Music Award-winner Jonny Tarr. She has also recorded with Joshua Taylor and Jeff Berkley, and has performed with The Manhattans and Heatwave.
Her jazz-rock album Departure dropped in October 2024, preceded in September by singles for "Lush Life" and "Shadow Of Your Smile." She says the album is a tribute to her late father, Ron King, a local jazz trumpet player who passed away in 2021.
