Sacred Lies was a late '70s/early '80s North County punk band fronted by singer Jimmy Peroni (aka Sacred Jimmy), originally backed by Manifest Destiny guitarist Max Brown (aka Manifest Max) and bassist/percussionist John Murray (Hair Theatre, Personal Conflict), who'd both recently moved from L.A. to Leucadia, as well as drummer Kevin Castillo (Manifest Destiny).
Brown was later replaced by Jake Decroix, before the band split around 1982. Their songs "Sound the Siren," "Bored with the 80s," and "Fuck the Public" appeared on the cassette compilation Our Blow Out.
