Pat & the Californians were a 1960s group based in Ramona, where the family of songwriter-guitarist Pat McGowen and his vocalist sister ran a market. Their 1964 single :Be Billy" (the B-side of their "Bad" single) appeared on the compilation It Came from the Garage! Nuggets from Southern California.
