Parasitic is a four-piece death-metal band from San Diego. They formed in May of 2004 and soon recorded and released their demo Born of Decay. After solidifying their lineup, their first live show was in 2005. They first started playing their own exclusive shows at the Golgotha room in Imperial Beach. Parasitic has since opened up for many national acts such as Decrepit Birth, Odious Mortem, Severed Savior, Insidious Decrepancy, Internal Bleeding, and Bodies in the Gears of the Apparatus. They have a two-song 7" vinyl on DeepSix Records and are currently signed to Lacerated Enemy. They are awaiting the completion of their debut album, Disfiguring Symmetry, which is set to be released in 2008.
