Brent Asbury was once a cross-dressing dancer for Optiganally Yours, as well as drumming for Thingy, Followers, Aspects of Physics, and Goblin Cock, playing bass for Alpha Males, and fronting Schlag-Schlag. After relocating to Portland, OR and building his own recording studio, he began working with everyone from the Locust to Michael Bolton.
In 2018, he brought his amalgamation of dark dance beats to Dead Cross with a blistering remix of the song “Shillelagh” featured on the band’s EP on Ipecac Recordings. Around the same time, he formed Panicker.
"Panicker blends aspects of EBM, industrial, techno, and hip-hop with the emotion of punk, hardcore, metal, experimental, and horror movie scores,” says Asbury.
A debut instrumental EP called Blasphony was released in late 2018 via Three One G Records.
