Formed in 2007, On Descent was an Oceanside-based metal band. Their debut album Spark of the Divine was self-released in 2010.
The band played its final show on March 21, 2015 at the Jumping Turtle in San Marcos. Guitarist Sky Jay soon cofounded Finding T.H.E.T.I.S. with bassist Bryce Giuliani (Dark Lumen).
