Bassist Mike Ciminello, aka DoGGNutz, explains how the No Name Band came together. Around 2011, "John Haskin, guitar player extraordinaire and friend 'til the end, and I finally got together and started to drunkenly fumble over our instruments in my garage. We had a man named Ugh behind us on the drums and it wasn’t long before we had our first show as a three piece at the 710 Club in PB. We played three or four songs that night with no vocals."
Ugh was replaced by Ryan L'Heureux. "Shortly thereafter we found our first and only vocalist, a reggae drummer at the time, Justin Hendrick...the No Name Gang has had a couple rhythm/lead guitar players along the way but none more prominent than Dana Roselli."
The band won the 2013 Starlit Battle of the Bands.
Ciminello played his last show with the band in May 2016, going on to join Fight Machine of Pittsburgh, PA.
