Michael Andrews -- aka Elgin Park -- attended high school in La Jolla, going on the play with the Origin, who released two albums in the early 1990s. Andrews and his one-time Origin bandmate Gary Jules earned a measure of fame with their cover of Tears For Fears' "Mad World," as heard in the film Donnie Darko, which Andrews scored.
Andrews also scored films like Me and You and Everyone We Know, as well as performing and recording with Greyboy Allstars and releasing solo albums including Hand on String (Elgin Park Recordings, 2006) and Spilling A Rainbow (Everloving Records, 2012).
