Memo Rex (Buddy Akai) has been an audio engineer and VP for Tribe Out West, as well as producing remixes and original tracks with releases on Desert Heart Records along with Lee Reynolds, with whom he recorded The Seven Principles EP.
2017 collaborations included recording for Miguel Mig’s Salted Music with Jesusdapnk, and Croatia’s Klinik Room Recordings with Nicky Saponaro.
The band played Desert Hearts in summer 2019, around the same time that they teamed up with Matth for a new house track, “Fades.”
