Matt "Sando" Sandoval is a California-born singer/songwriter inspired by roots reggae, rock, dance hall, neo soul, lovers rock, international reggae, world, acoustic folk, country, and all modern and classical musical styles pleasing to the ear and soul.
Sandoval was born in Ventura, a small surf town on the California coast where he grew up playing music with friends and family from a young age. It was a natural transition to move down to San Diego to broaden his horizons and network with other musicians. He was quickly immersed in San Diego's thriving reggae scene, where there is a steady flow of extremely talented and disciplined instrumentalists for hire.
Eventually he was signed to Sleeping Giant Music, a dominant force in San Diego's entertainment booking industry.
