Garage-surf band Lo-Fi Nipple was founded in 1997 by guitarist Bill Reynolds (YANG, No Shoes No Shirt No Service) and singer/songwriter/guitarist John Finkbiner (the Vacancy, Finkbiner Park), beginning a ten-year run playing bars along Highway 101 from Ocean Beach to Hollywood before the band split a few years later.
John Finkbiner went on to the Stereotypes with producer/multi-instrumentalist Mike Kamoo of Earthling Studios in El Cajon.
Reynolds and Finkbiner regrouped for new Lo-Fi Nipple recordings in 2015 and played a series of summer shows in 2016, backed by B.J. Skoff (Plastic Supermodel, Death on Mars) and Wally Bee (the Pull Toys, Cedar Fire).
