The Latin Jazz Quartet was founded by trombone player Dan Reagan, best known for his tours with singer Marc Anthony, husband of Jennifer Lopez. Midwest-born but San Diego-bred, Reagan is self-taught, having played with various ensembles while attending Crawford High School. The Quartet also includes pianist Kris Korasgaden, bassist Mack Leighton, and drummer Isaac Crow.
As of 2010, Reagan is also a part-time instructor at the San Diego School of Creative and Performance Arts, as well as playing with the Gunnar Biggs Latin Jazz Quartet and Marc Anthony’s alternate group, the Grammy Award-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra.
Jennifer Lopez’ one-time husband Marc Anthony tapped trombonist Dan Reagan to play on his 2011 album with the Grammy Award-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra.
