The La Jolla Symphony and Chorus Chamber Choir is a 110-person orchestra and 130-voice chorus which includes members of the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus, the city’s oldest and largest community orchestra and chorus. In 2003, the group became the first Western choir to perform in the kingdom of Bhutan. They were subsequently proclaimed Cultural Ambassadors by the city and county of San Diego.
As of 2010 (its 56th season), the LJS&C Music Director is Steven Schick, while its Choral Director is David Chase. In summer 2010, the group spent two weeks on a singing tour of Ireland.
