Formed in 2004, math rockers Japandi features guitarist George Pritzker (Weatherbox), along with drummer Marc Deriso (Cults, Weatherbox), bassist/guitarist Andy Seymour (Weatherbox), and guitarist Jeff Striker. Their releases include The Great Dinosaur Mystery (2007) and the Decorative Duck EP (2010).
In late 2012, after a couple of years of inactivity (and side activity with bands like Cults, Weatherbox, and Realization Orchestra), with two members no longer living in San Diego, the group reconvened for shows at Soda Bar and the Ché Café.
