Inspired and the Sleep is a psychedelic lo-fi pop band founded in North County San Diego, originally featuring Max Greenhalgh, Bryce Outcault, and Andrew Bailey. Their single "In My Labyrinth Mind" was released in September 2015.
A stop motion animated video for their tune "Die Slow" debuted online in January 2016. A few weeks later, Max Greenhalgh released a solo tune called "Homebody" under the name Max Green. As of 2017, Greenhalgh was also playing in a bass & drum duo with Ryan Mack called the Thens.
Inspired and the Sleep dropped a new single in April 2018, “First Time,” with the band now billed as a duo featuring Max Greenhalgh (who had relocated to L.A.) and Bryce Outcault (still in San Diego). Greenhalgh's tunes have appeared on MTV’s Catfish and True Life, and he has a song in the 2018 indie film Time Freak.
