Fronted by guitarist Joe Fabri (French Kiss Koma, Media Control, Homeless Sexuals), the Hathcocks came together around October 2014, when Fabri reached out to drummer Kevin Allen (Tim Raldo and the Filthy Fuks) with a proposition to jump on-board his latest music project. They were joined by guitarist Erik Goesch (the Code 7's, Sheas Rebellion), though it took another year, eight different bass players, and around a dozen lead singers before the band settled on bassist Jake Jones (No One Listens), who'd recently moved to San Diego, and singer Dary Terible (the Terible Sideshow).
The Hathcocks recorded their first four song demo No Labels No Limits with Jeff Forrest at Doubletime Recording Studios in early 2016.
