Displaying musical talent from an early age, Han Bin Yoon has excelled as a top prizewinner in numerous competitions. Within a year of picking up the cello, the devoted chamber musician won his first competition and made solo appearances with the San Diego Youth Symphony.
During his studies at the New England Conservatory of Music, he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship, the most prestigious scholarship bestowed by the NEC. Performing locally and abroad, he has appeared as guest soloist with orchestras such as the Springfield, Torrance, Palisades, Brentwood and Huntsville Symphonies.
He has performed with the Los Angeles Violoncellos Society, and was chosen as a finalist in the Los Angeles Music Center’s Spotlight Awards competition, subsequently performing in the PBS-broadcast of the gala concert at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
