Gold Dust is a female-fronted ensemble consisting of Debbie, Stein, Dan, Tim, and Kevin. Formed in early 2000, the band’s musical direction was fueled by a mutual desire to explore material that embraced each members' varied musical influences. Their journey has led them from the classics of rock, pop, folk and acoustic ballads, and today’s pop country.
Debbie fronts this five-piece ensemble. She leads with strong and versatile vocals, and is an engaging presence. She has the ability to deliver many of the most respected male and female artists in rock, and a particularly noteworthy performance of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac.
Stein has been strumming on his guitar for over thirty years. With an enthusiasm and diligence for picking up new tunes and solid guitar work, he is the backbone of their ensemble. His wide and varied musical tastes contribute to the bands eclectic set list. With two feet firmly planted in classic rock 'n' roll, a keen eye on today’s new country, and his appreciation for softer melodies and haunting vocals, Stein keeps the band’s music evolving.
Dan's professional career spans over three decades, and various musical genres. His talents afforded him the opportunity to play in a series of nationally touring acts, culminating in a seven-year stint with Dirk Debonaire & the Yacht Lizards. With tasteful licks and a keen ear for vocal harmonies, Dan has provided the finishing touch to this group.
Tim has been drumming since he was old enough to bang on pots and pans. His drumming has brought him coast to coast, adding his talents to numerous bands and valuable recording studio contributions. Tim’s collaborative efforts have allowed him to perform in bands opening up for the likes of Huey Lewis & the News, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.
Kevin plays bass and sings back up, lending his well-honed talents to the band. He is a seasoned music veteran, performing since the '70s.
