Post hardcore band In Fear and Faith blends furious instrumentation, electronic flourishes, and aggressive vocals that embrace elements of heavy metal. The resulting hybrid helped earn them a contract with Rise Records. Your World on Fire, the group's debut effort, was subsequently released in early 2009.
The brainchild of Ramin Niroomand and Tyler McElhaney while working together at Guitar Center in San Marcos, In Fear and Faith toured throughout 2009 to support their debut album, which surpassed 20,000 copies sold.
Your World on Fire reached #8 on the Billboard Heatseekers, #23 on the Billboard Independent Albums, and #192 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums. Their 2010 followup was called Imperial.
Secondary singer Cody Anderson left the band in 2010, leaving Scott Barnes to handle lead vocals.
A new song “A Creeping Dose” was releasedin advance of their next full-length, released in October 2012 while the band was on the Inked Magazine Music Tour Featuring Alesana, running October 10 (New York, NY Irving Plaza) through November 7 (Charlotte, NC at The Fillmore).
